I've got 2 Renogy 150 W panels on the way. I'm planning to mount them on a pole 50 feet away from where my 60 A charge controller, 3 -12V 100AH AGM batteries and a pair of 12v, 2000W pure sine wave inverters will be located on a cart inside my garage. I plan on adding a few more batteries and panels as I can.
I am hoping the distance of the panels from everything else will work, will 10 awg wire from the panels to the controller work? What if I add another 300 or 600 watts of panels? Should I go to 8awg or am I getting something else all wrong with my design? Any help or suggestions would be great. Thank in advance

Hello Sir, Will this be a 12 volt or 24 volt solar system? If you have both the 150 watt panels in series 10 AWG will be sufficient. When adding more panels I recommend having them in series/parallel with 8 AWG if possible. If you have any other questions feel free to contact us at (909) 517-3598.
