hello all - got the Renogy Deep Cycle AGM Battery 12 Volt 200Ah - man it's long and heavy! I have mid size tear drop trailer so it needs to live outside when in use.
What are others doing about a storage box and do you use a battery disconnect? Security measures? Given the price of this thing, I'd hate to see it vanish !

It needs to be inside... It's sealed so it doesn't need to be vented...

I beg to differ on the venting issue with the AGM batteries. They DO need venting if they should ever overcharge at all! So they need to be in a well ventilated interior if they are inside your rig.
