I just completed a 400 watt solar installation using the Renogy Rover 40A mppt charge controller. In the programming mode it just toggles between the battery type screen and the system voltage selection screen. I have been unable to access the Equalizing voltage, Boost voltage,
Over-discharge voltage, Over-discharge return voltage, and Float voltage screens. Everything else seems to be functioning properly. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks!

Since you just started your system have you let it charge the batteries to 100% with nothing drawing on your system?
What kind and how many batteries?

if using the set key does not go to the next parameter I'd try setting batt type to user and then attempt to use the set key to change to the parameter you want to change.

The CC is cycling through the different modes. I am just unable to access the screens mentioned above in the programming mode.

MY CC has the same interface cept I use a phone app to change stuff, I will go attempt to change something leaving it in batt type sealed and then user and report back.

Ok So your batteries are fully charged have you checked them with a Hydrometer? You might not be able to manually set them unless you do it with your phone like bird does if you can even do that..

Okay thanks. I have only tried with battery type set to flooded. Flooded is the only way it should be set.. You get more power on that setting..

Okay thanks. I have only tried with battery type set to flooded. sorry, mine will not let me change boost or equalz voltage via the 2 buttons (I only have 2 on my hp2440 mine is compatable with bluethooth so I monitor/change via an app. I've changed boost and equalz time to much longer and left voltages alone. you seem to have the ml 2440 the manual from the maker is below and does suggest you should be able to access/change with the 4 buttons, as high as 17v on user. www.srnesolar.com/Uploads/Picture/file/20160921/20160921093932_94383.docx

If you cell phone can detect it via bluethooth, there is app in the software section that may be able to change what ya want. www.renogy.com/template/files/Renogy_BT.apkthere is an apple one somewhere I could find again if needed.

Actually your suggestion worked. I needed to go to user to access the rest of the menu pages. Just got home a while ago and gave it a try. Did the trick. Greatly appreciated!

Glad it worked for you... Bird does know his stuff.. I don't understand why manuals don't tell you everything you need to know to make it work right.....
