I bought the 100w Renogy kit with the PWM30CC controller and I've got the chance to get my hands on some 180w Grape Solar panels. I was wondering if I could pair up one of those 180w panels with my 100w Renogy panel on the 30A controller in parallel and be fine? I know the 30A controller is rated for 360W at 12v but I didn't know if the wattages were too far apart to work peacefully even though it's only 280w. I do have an MPPT controller for all the other panels I'll be snagging up, I just wanted to know if this would be feasible for my portable system, I don't think I need an MPPT quite yet for that setup.

Nobody knows if a 180w will work with the 100w on the 30A controller?

Figured that "other guy" who's been monopolizing the forum lately would have jumped in to answer this one by now. Anyway, you should be fine mixing and matching panels with different current outputs up to the current limit of your controller, as long as the voltages are the same and you hook them in parallel.
