Greetings all!!!
Solar Noob here looking to power a shop. I have two 100 watt panels, 30 Amp Wanderer so far. I plan on running two 6 volt deka AGM 235 AH batteries. I do plan on incrementally increasing panels and batteries over time so I am sure that the charge controller will have to change.
At the moment I am debating between 1000 Watt PS Inverter and a 2000 Watt PS Inverter. Suggestions?
Also, should I ground each panel, charge controller, inverter to one ground rod (tie each separate ground cable to a common rod) or runn separate ground cables to separate rods?
Thank in advance guys and gals

I would get a 500w inverter with such a small system as inverters pull power even when you don't have anything hooked to it, if it's on that is.... I started with a 2000w and it was using to much power so I bought a 500w for my everyday 24/7 uses... If I want to run something larger like a table saw or shop vac I cut on the 2000wer...
I don't see any need to ground the panels but everything else needs to be... But with that said you do need to have a fuse between the panels and the CC.... I have mine strung together running to one ground rod... Hope this helps???
