hi, i bought a 200w kit for my rv. i am doing dry camping, mean without electricity, so, i need power, but i dont want to run the generator. so far, everything works good. but last week, i was camping Under trees, so a lot of shade. and i mist power all the week. my question is: should i install a third panel, or install a tilt mounting device? thanks, and sorry for my english

Hello,
For this situation we would recommend purchasing an extra panel. Although a tilt mounting device is a great tool, installing is on the roof of your RV is a difficult task. We generally recommend that tilting devices be used when you have your solar panels on the ground.

I am flat mounted 8- 100 watt panels. Here in Arizona I find that I am earning 570 watts during the peak of the day. We have an RV with 8- 145ah batteries, Sunforce 11260 2500 Watt Pure Sine Wave Inverter, and the MPPT TRACER 40 amp Solar Charge Controller. I love working with Renogy and have more than enough power to watch TV, lights, and the microwave.
