Does the Solar Panel Charge the Battery which is connected to the battery terminals (lugs) on 30 AMP PWM Controller only? Can I connect another 12vdc source directly to the battery which is also connected to the PWM Controller, such as an additional 12 VDC Light? I programmed the load terminals to "6." on or off mode on the PWM Controller. It remains in the "on mode" because I connected an IR remote FOB to a 12 VDC controller (on or off) which activates a 12VDC LED Light on my dock from up to 400 feet away, works great!! Is the load voltage being drawn from the battery? New to this, thanks for all your help, so far saved me a ton of money if I would have paid to run AC to the dock!!!

Hello wmac62,
You can connect a load to the batteries in addition to your charge controller. Using the DC load terminals, the voltage is being drawn from the batteries. The DC load terminals simply connect to the 12V battery but add a timer functionality. I'm not sure if am understanding your question. You say "source" which makes me think of a power source, but then you refer to a light which would be a load. Please clarify if I misinterpreted your question.
