It has a rs485 plug that plugs into the wifi but there is on r485 plug on the etracer. The controllers has a 4pin plug for the interface. It calls it a rs485 port but the cable coming from wife has like a rj45 plug. Does anyone know where to find an adapter?

It is doable. Epsolar sent me a diagram. I cut off the lan connector and hook it up to the 4 pin connector they call a 3.81-4p connector. I got the 4 pin connector with the etracer et6415bnd. It had a usb connector on the other end to connect to a computer. It was really useless because I can get the info from the controller. Why plug into a computer and read it there. I was standing right next to the controller.
So now I am using the ebox wifi 01 and reading it inside on my tablet. I went looking for solutions and found so many said it could not be done.
