OK, so my battery (two batteries) each 6v deep cycle one battery is labeled with 232 AH am I to enter this figure into the remote or the total of both batteries into the remote making it 464 AH or I could enter 460.

I'm assuming that you have your two batteries connected in series to make 12V? In that case, the voltage is additive (6V x 2 = 12V) while the current capacity is not (232AH). If you had your batteries connected in parallel, then the voltage is not additive (6V) while the current capacity IS (232 x 2 = 464AH). It's probably okay to round the entry into the remote down to the nearest 10 either way on the remote (230AH or 460AH, depending on your configuration).

Thank you for your reply yes, I have two 6v batteries in series for 12v which means I have on the remote 230 AH entered.
What about the temp setting, it's nowhere on the battery? My batteries are Interstate 6v Deep Cycle
