I have a 400 watt Renogy premium system with a commander 40 charge controller mounted on my motorhome. I use it to charge 4 golf cart batteries on my house system. I would like to also use it to charge my 2 12v chassis batteries. What would be the best way to accomplish this?

My motorhome has two battery systems. Chassis system consists of 2 12v batteries wired in parallel to start the engine, generator and power other chassis associated equipment. The house system consists of 4 6v golf cart batteries wired series/parallel used to power inside lighting, water pump, inverter and other 12v equipment inside the motorhome.I am using the solar system to charge the "House" batteries but would like to be able to keep the "Chassis" batteries charged too.

You don't have enough panels to do what your wanting to do... You will need at least 4 more 100w panels...

If, your motorhome has a B.I.R.D. you can do just that, automatically. Bi-Directional Isolator Relay Dealy. Look it up and see if you have one. If not you can install one. Problem solved.
