So i recently purchased your 200 watt kit with the wanderer controller, i hooked up everything correctly and was working great but now twice the following has happened to me.
i noticed the PV green light blinking when it got dark on the wanderer controller, i thought that was strange but figured it was maybe getting some power from the street lamp i was parked under in a walmart parking lot. then an hour later my 1500 watt inverter started beeping low power batteries down to 11.0 batterie voltage. was not even enough power to start my generator so i called it a night and waited till morning and once the sun had given enough i turned on the generator.
Note only a cell phone and laptop were hooked up to inverter.
i am using 2 brand new marine deep cycle batteries and using 2 gage wire for the inverter.
any ideas why this would happen and what i can do to either trouble shoot the problem or avoid it happening in the future, its not a great feeling to out there with no power.....
Thanks in advance....

Were the batteries fully charged?? Did you check to see what kind of draw you have with a meter?? It shouldn't be charging at night... Something is wrong...

You have phantom drains during the night as well, depending on what kind of trailer, MH, etc you have, the batteries are constantly draining, now the amount is another thing of course. What kind of batteries, you say deep cycle marine batteries, what is the amp hour?
