Hello, We purchased 5) Renogy 100 watt mono solar panels, 5) Renogy roof tilt mounts, and 1) Renogy 20Ft Adaptor Kit PV Solar Cable 12AWG with MC4 Female and Male Connector. We will be installing these on the roof of our Arctic Fox 26X travel trailer.
We have 1)Morning Star (Tri Star) MPPT 60 amp controller, 1) Magnum MMS1012 1000W Inverter with 50 Amp Charger, 1)Bogart TriMetric 2030-RV Solar RV Battery Monitor w/500 Amp Shunt + Cable, 1)Magnum ME-RC50 Digital LCD Display Remote with 50’ Cable, 1)Air conditioner pull breaker 60 amp, 2) Crown 6 volt 245 AH solar batteries.
The trailer is about 50 miles from home in the boondocks, no stores or phones or internet near, so I need to get the parts, cables, nuts & bolts together correctly before I go to install this. (We have never done any solar before this)
Specifically,
1. what connectors and extra wires do I need to hook all of these 5 solar panels together? 1A. Can I buy the connectors and whatever cable I need from your site here? if so can you send a link?
2. Do I connect them in series or in parallel. (my power needs are 500 watts of power, 411 amp hours and I have the batteries for those specs).
3. Is there any mounting hardware, like screws to screw into my roof, that do not come with the roof tilt mounts.
What else do I need to do this job right the first time?
Respectfully, Ron & Jodi

Hello Ron,
I would recommend wiring all 5 panels in series since you have a MPPT charge controller. The controller you have will be able to support all 5 panels wired in series. The roof tilt mounts will come with all the hardware you need to mount them.

How will I be able to connect all of the 5 panels without extra connections and wires? I can see how you can connect two panels, but not then connect to the cable going to the controllers, or connecting to more than 2 panels. Is there a video? and other connections and wires needed?
