I am the proud new owner of an Adventurer controller. The battery voltage sensor and the temp sensor cables are rather short. I need them to be closer to 12 ft in length to make the run to the controller location. Is it possible to extend their length without significantly affecting performance? If so, what gauge stranded wire should I use to make the extension? Should I add to the length of the temp sensor cable or cut near the thermocouple and add length from that point. I'll solder join the wires together. Thanks.
