I have 4 - 100 watt Renogy panels in series, a Aim MPPT controller, 4 - 6 volt 225 AH lead acid batteries, wired series parallel in my motorhome. How long should the batteries take to charge if they have a voltage of 11.9 volts.

Hello Sir, Depending on your location and how the panels are mounted it can take 2-3 days to charge this battery bank from 11.9 volts to 12.8-12.9 volts. This is also assuming the weather conditions are ideal. O.C

Being wired in series, if even on part of one panel gets shade at anytime, will reduce your output tremendously, that is why I went with parallel wiring not near the reduction if one part of any panel gets shaded. I believe that is why the tech is saying 2 - 3 days. So many things to consider, time of day, where you are parked, how you are parked, etc.
