Hi, I use solar power most of the day and for a few thing at night. I also have a fridge that is powered 24/7. I set my timer to #17 which is the manual mode.
Is there a better timer setting to use? The manual is very confusing.
Thanks in advance. Rod in San Francisco

I would connect any load to a battery and avoid using the timer function, unless it is for timed lights (low amperage) at night.

I use the timer as specified, a street light. It's awesome for that. Set the timer for the hours you want it to come on after the sunsets and will automatically shut the street light off to your setting. We take a walk at night, I use it as a berring when coming back. Or as a becon night when out driving and coming home and its all dark, except for that light (when out in the desert or mountains). It has many uses. I switch it to a single LED that looks like an alarm light, when we are storing the MH, or out of town.

Hello Rod,
If you are running the fridge 24/7 it would be ideal to connect it straight to your battery(s). You wouldn't want to mistakenly turn the load off via button on the controller, especially by accident at any time. As SpiderBob mentioned, something like street lights that would benefit from a repeating timer would be best. Otherwise, your fridge and other devices are better being connected to the battery.
