Hello,
I have two 6v batteries wired in series on my travel trailer. The batteries are Lifeline GPL-4CT's. I just purchased the 100w suitcase panel which has the 10 amp Viewstar controller. I have a few questions about setting up the controller correctly.
The batteries are AGM and that type is not listed as an option under RATED VALUE. So which type to select? If I select USER then I assume I have to set all the PARAMETERS. This is where I really start to get lost!
The Lifeline instructions uses the terms Bulk, Absorption, and Float charging. How do these relate to Boost and Float charging as described in the charge controller manual?
The Lifeline manual has a table of Absorption and Float charging voltages at different temperatures. I don't know which values to select for Equalization, Boost, and Float charging which temperature to use. I'm equally lost on what values to use for things like the Temp Compensation Coefficient, Disconnect and Reconnect settings.
Any help is appreciated. I want to get this right because the batteries are kind of spendy!
