I recently bought the Renology 100 Watts 12 Volts Monocrystalline Foldable Solar Suitcase. We have used it a few times and it seems to charge our truck camper well during the day. My question is concerning whether it is ok to leave it all connected at night. Our last trip no matter how well the battery said it was charged, within and hour of sunset I seem to have lost all my charge. I am aware that it could be my battery or even the display showing how well my battery is charged. I just wondered if it is a mistake to leave the solar panel plugged in over night?
Thanks Misty

no the controller prevents the panel from draining the battery.
have your battery tested at an autoparts store, free.
solar makes a great maintainer for storage, not keeping a battery charged is bad.

Hello Misty, The controller should act as a blocking diode to prevent the batteries from draining at night. You should be fine to leave the suitcase connected over night. If the batteries are draining though this would not be normal. Could you please call our tech support team and we could help you troubleshoot that to figure out exactly what could be happening. You can call us at 800-330-8678 for assistance. We are open 8am-5pm Monday through Friday. -A.L.
