Just received my 100W 12v with the Adventurer 30A controller.
It comes with TS-R remote temperature sensor. I see the leads to connect to the controller but scratching my head on how the tubular sensor connects to the battery. I have a sealed AGM battery. Help!!

So no one has mounted the remote temperature sensor that comes with the unit?

Mount it anyway you like. It meaures ambient temperature. But if I were doing it, I would put it closest to the warmest battery and use that data.

I don't believe it connects to the battery like other do that connect to a battery screw post. I'd set in the batt box, might tape it to the side or top.

Thanks Spiderbob and Rex. Think I'll tape it to the side of the battery.

Like spiderbob had mentioned, It is an ambient temperature sensor it just needs to be in the vicinity of the batteries nearby. -A.L.

I see that it comes with a small ring connected to a wire. Where does this ring attach to?

I see that it comes with a small ring connected to a wire. Where does this ring attach to? Brandon, Is this with the commander controller? if it is for the commander controller there should be a ground screw the ring terminal would connect to.
