I had one more question. I notice that the Adventurer controller is mounted on what looks to be a hinged plate. I gently tried to pull on it from the bottom but bet with substantial resistance. Doesn't appear to want to swing out. Is there velcro (controller velcroed to panel) causing the resistance? I didn't want to pull too hard.
Thanks

I also just bought one of the portable 100 Watt Suitcase with the Adventurer Controllers.
On mine there is Velcro on the back of the Adventurer Controller and the back of the panel. It sticks pretty tight but does pull out. Then the Controller swings out at the bottom on the hinged plate. On my suitcase the wires connecting the two panels is short and you have to be careful to work it around the corner of the controller to allow it to swing out. When you put it back into the stored position the wire will be behind the controller so it will not make contact with the Velcro so you have to again carefully work the wire back around the corner of the controller. If the wire were 4 to 6 inches longer this wouldn’t be a problem!

Thanks. It is what I suspected but sure didn't want to bend or snap anything off by pulling too hard.

Hello Nitesky, Yes there is velcro keeping that controller down. Just pull on it to release and give us a call at 800-330-8678 if you are having any issues! -A.L.
