I have the 100 w panel with the PWM charge controller. I lost the book and was wondering which setting to put it on with 2 12 volt batteries set in parallel. The settings are 0-7

Those settings only affect when the controller applies power to the DC load terminals (the ones labeled with a bulb picture). The controller configures itself automatically for the proper voltage when you connect the batteries. According to the manual which you can download from here: renogy.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/07/PWM30CC-Manual-Revised.pdf you actually get 18 work mode settings: 0-9 and 0-9 with a decimal point after the digit. 0=Turn the lights on all night, dusk to dawn. 1=Turn on the lights 1 hour after sundown, etc. up to 9 for 9 hours. 0.=Turn on the lights 10 hours after sundown, 1.=11 hours etc. up to 5. for 15 hours. 6.=just use the button as a lights on/off toggle switch. 7.=Test mode: Turn lights on in the absence of sunlight, turn them off when sunlight appears. |
