I goofed. I moved my setup in my van around and didnt realize i flipped the terminals around. I hooked battery back to 30a controller and got sparks, pulled right off. Damn. I hooked them back up properly, but got solid green from panel...and flashing green intermitent with flashing orange on battery?! Manual didnt have this one.
I let it go then it turned red. Wha... So i unhooked everything, waited a good long while hooked up batteries, this time battery light is not doing anything, no lights. Hooked up panels and that light came on blinking. The red work light flashing.
Sun went down, nothing is on.
Checked battery and its 12.7, everything on it works. Checked cable from battery to controller on my volt meter and they are working. Controller dead? Man im so broke right now....

Unfortunately, based on your description, it does sound to me like you fried the controller when you reversed the polarity.
The lack of a light when you hooked up the battery probably means that the controller can't configure itself for the proper voltage setting. If it can't do that, then nothing else is going to work properly either. Sorry!
