Hi. New to solar but purchased a Firefly and a 50w external panel. Finally got all the extensions and hooked it up today and nothing happened. The readout does not appear until you open the FF but there is no increase in the charge. I checked all my connections and could find no issues. My question is does the FF have to be opened up for the external panel to charge or am I missing something obvious. I am new to any kind of solar and really anxious to see this work. Any suggestions are appreciated.
