I purchased three Renogy Deep Cycle Pure GEL Rechargeable 12 Volt 200Ah Battery for Total of 600 amp hours, however the RENOGY® MT-5 Tracer Meter for MPPT Charge Controller tells me the battery is 200 ah, even with the three 200 ah batteries connected in parallel. should it read 600 ah, is this normal. How is 600 ah, 200 ah?
The products I purchased.
1. RENOGY® MT-5 Tracer Meter for MPPT Charge Controller 2. Three Renogy Deep Cycle Pure GEL Rechargeable 12 Volt 200Ah Battery - For a total of 600 ah, connected in Parallel. 3. Renogy 400 Watt 12 Volt Monocrystalline Solar Starter Kit w/ 40A MPPT Charge Controller
Let me clearify the question, MT-5 Tracer Meter tells me that the battery is 200 amp hours. But I have three batteries in Parallel. Three 200 ah batteries x 3 = 600 amp hours. The MT-5 Tracer Meter says 200 ah. Why? Is this normal?
Thank You,
Tim T

I am going to answer my own question. I learn that it is in the setup as explained in the pdf instruction file.
Amp hour ranges from 10Ah to 900Ah. The default value will be 200Ah. Once the user presses the SET button, they will be able to modify the Amp hours in increments of 10Ah.
I'm learning... :-)
