I have been planning to install Renogy RNG-100D panels on a 40' 2011 Tiffin Phaeton RV motorhome with fiberglass roof. In my research I have found several installers and resellers recommending installation with 3M VHB tape, if a fiberglass roof - and screws if a rubber roof.
My particular installer is telling that Renogy recommends the panels only to be secured with screws - and not 3M VHB tape - even if a fiberglass roof.
I wanted to check with if this recommendation by Renogy is true?
