Maybe this is a dumb question, but when adding to your generating capability by adding another panel do you wire the solar panels together and then go to the controller or do you run each panel to the controller?

The branch connectors via the link are described as for use in parallel wiring: "Renogy MC4 Branch Connectors are used for parallel wiring solar panels (PV modules)" Are different connectors used for in series wiring?

Are different connectors used for in series wiring? No connectors at all.... They just plug together.... But you will need to have a MPPT CC...........

Ah, yes, thanks. Panel1 positive to Panel2 negative (using existing connectors already on panels) Panel1 negative to MPPT CC Negative (direct wired) Panel2 positive to MPPT CC Positive (direct wired with fuse)

Enjoy it.... I've been amazed how well and how much you can run off of a system.... Be sure and let your batteries get fully charged before you put a load on it....

Where can I get the schematics of connecting a wire to a negative connector. I don't want to ruin a few by just trying.
