Sorry everyone I'm so new to this, I'm just about ready to mount my 4 100 watt SP on the roof of my RV. I'm pretty sure There will be two on each side and straight across from each other. Somewhere I read if you wire one of those ways, if the shade hits one they all stop charghing?? I can't remember which way. Paralell or series? I bought the Renogy 400 W eclipse premium package and a Renogy 200 watt inverter and 4 6 volt 225AH
Thanks for your help.

all 4 in series will work and doesn't require additional connectors. shade on one cell will reduce the entire series string! 4 in seies is like 5A x 80v - voltage drop in the panel to controller would be less than 4 in parallel is like 20A x 20v - voltage drop in the panel to controller wire is HIGH. voltage drop is based on amps) other option is 2 parallel strings of 2 using 2 pair of these www.renogy.com/renogy-solar-mc4-branch-connectors-mmf-ffm-pair/2 stings 5Ax40v = 10A@ 40v. roll the dice! or connect in series and evaluate.

2 questions 1. I just received a 200 watt starter kit. I need about 20 feet of 10 gauge from mppt 20 amp to battery box. 2/12 volt . Will this affect my charge?
2. I remove my batteries during winter. What is the process for non use ?
