Hello, this has been installed in the 1990 van that I bought last month. It's not licensed yet and so has been sitting in the yard. We noticed last night that there's a RED light that says FLOODED; and two blinking green lights that say: PV & BATT. I can't tell from the manual on line what I should do, especially regarding my absolute ignorance re: solar energy and the battery set-up. Have I ruined the battery? What can I do to allow it to sit without doing any damage? Thank you for any assistance you can offer!

when ya say 'this' has been installed, what is this?
AFIK, solar makes a great maintainer for storage. If the battery is flooded there is not much to do. ya could check the fluid level once or so a year.
generally there are 3 types of batteries these controllers are used with, 'Sealed', 'Gel' or 'Flooded'. If you don't know which you have then find out!

It would be helpful if you took a photo of the battery setup as well as the controller -- up close so we can better understand what you have.
