I have just installed a Renogy 100w panel and the Wanderer 30A CC. Th PV light is flashing indicating an over voltage situation. I measured the voltage from the panel to be 19.68v. If I cover a third of the panel,(down to 15v) the light stops flashing. I tried disconnecting the panel for 5 minutes and reconnecting. No change. Battery voltage is 13.65v. 12 volt system. Any suggestions? Will this harm the controller or the battery?

Renogy needs to address this, it is happening too often with that controller.
over-voltage is over 25v which should never happen with a '12v' panel.

When you say the PV was flashing, how fast was it? I am trying to distinguish between fast and slow flash....

The light is flashing as in the video at 35 seconds. I would suggest to the person in the video that they need to unhook their panels then make the battery choice, and reconnect the panels.

Well, apparently I was not getting the flashing idea correct. This evening I checked the CC and both the panel and the battery were flashing at the same speed. I checked the voltages; Battery-13.72 volts and Panel 13.99 volts. After reading the manual again, it looks as if the battery is in float mode and is fully charged. This leads me to believe that the panel is charging correctly and is illustrated by (slow ) flash. I have no idea what a fast flash looks like.
