so i got my solar hooked up and its definetly working. the maxxair fan however, wouldnt work when wired into the charge controller, so it is wired directly to the battery and works fine. i have the panel wired into the charge controller and the battery. is it ok to just leave it all hooked up charging all the time? should i run a fuse box into the charge controller and then the fan to that? i also have no idea how to read/undertand the controller. this is the one o have: 30A PWM Wanderer Charge Controller Renogy 100 Watt 12 Volt Monocrystalline Solar Starter Kit with 30A PWM Controller - LCD Display how do i know what all the different screens are? real confused and i hit the4 road in two days. this was last week when i hooked it all up: imgur.com/Bkf13Sh

its full charged and in float. and specific questions? I'd only monitor the main screen, see float to the far left? Each day it should start in Boost and attempt to get the battery to 14.?v (based on type of battery) Do you have a sealed AGM battery, looks like that is what it is set for. it should attempt to hold that voltage for 2 hrs and then go into float mode of 13.8v (temp compesated). When it is hot, like 42C, the 14.?v and and float voltage are reduced, in clold they are increased. I have the 2440, got an app from grape so I can monitor via cell phone!

don't worry about it being in boost. Ok, you got a SLD battery. It should return to boost anytime the batt voltage drops from use.
I think you want load control setting to 15, once set the button on front (right one side or the other) turns it on and off. Give 15 a try, turning the fan on/off with the button; 17 may be ON all the time.
in load mode long press the up/down arrow till flash then use the other button to go to 15 then long press the un/down.
I sent my 2440 back cuz I could not get the USB to work, the new one didn't work till changed load control, I use '3', on for 3 hrs after sunset. I remember the new one, I hook up my cell phone to charge and after awhile of setting and pushing the cell phone lite up/charging!!!

You might have beat me to my editing, note 15 is manual mode, ie the front button turns it on/off
The chinese/english can be confusing!
