Is it possible to run 300watts through this controller in series or is it unsafe?

that's a good question for controller that clip input power. There is no reason to have too much there is a good reason to have extra when the light is low ...

that's a good question for controller that clip input power. There is no reason to have too much there is a good reason to have extra when the light is low ... That little "extra" was what I was wondering about. Will it kill the controller? Seeing as STC is typically never seen in the real world. |

did you read page 9? or look at the chart on page 10?
did you see the Warning about the controller being damaged at 3 times blah blah
WARNING: Controller will be damaged when the PV array straight
polarity and the actual operation power of the PV array is three times
greater than the rated charge power
