I want to better understand measuring my solar output. I installed a bayite DC 6.5 100 volt meter. Works great. Keeps a log of how many kw I have used. Shows volts and amps. This shows use only. I am interested in seeing what the panels are producing. I have 800 watts of 100 watt panels 24 volt battery bank. And I have another system for my rv of 200 watts 12 volts. I Have a small meter the size of 2 decks of cards. I put it on dc 200 on the volt side. When the sun is behind clouds I get a reading checking the pv terminals on the solar controller. The reading is 8.6 to 12 on the 8oo watt panels and 2.4 on the 200 watt panels. What does that mean? It cant be 8 volts coming from the panels.
What about the rj45 plug on the epsolar 40 amp mppt controller. What about the rj45 plug on the controller is there software to read out on computer?

took me some time to get the epsolar software to work on a 10A controller, I did have to buy a cord, which I've missplaced since changing over to a controller that has an app for monitoring on my phone. www.epsolarpv.com/en/index.php/Technical/download see software tab, 1st on the list I believe. @ renogy it is there also www.renogy.com/learn#tab_downloads at the bottom not sure what your voltage readings are, measure the batt terminals on the controller, are they as goofy? In bulk you should read Vmp of the PV array, in abs and float the voltage jumps from Vmp to Voc and ya get an average based on how long it is charging vs not charging called duty cycle. This on/off is very fast. not sure how often or what causes mppt to re scan for Vmp, not sure what that does to V at the terminals I'm not into mppt $$$$$$ When I go BIG it won't be 100w 12v panels. Did I mention I like the Bluethooth that is built into the grape controller from HD

I'm new here, got my panel (RNG 100D) 3 days ago and living in PR with out light or changed cellphone isn't good. I purchase this in Amazon whit the Paxcess 100 w (150 whrs) and I don't see it charging. How long does it take to charge?? The battery symbol moves up and down, like is charging but in the end of the day is still in 3 bars. The multimeter reads 18.7v~20.8v and .22A ~.55A in the 10A, it's this normal for a 100W panel ?? Thanks!!!
