Hello,
I have 3 100 Watt solar panel (Renogy) and a 600 Watt Sun Grid Tie Inverter with a fuse shut off box. Yesterday about 11:30 the panel stop putting out power? They have been up and working for about 4 all together.
The 3 100 Watt solar panel are wired in parallel about 15 feel of 10 G wire into the fused shut off box then to the 600 Watt Grid Tie Inverter which is plug into a watt meter that is plug into my wall. Please let me know if you need any more info and Thanks.

What did you find out with your setup?
I've been having the same issue with 100W flexible panels. The first panel worked for 2 days then started showing "disconnected" and putting out very low voltage (fluctuating 0-12.6V). Tech support sent a replacement, that worked for part of a day, not it puts out zero voltage. The first panel I checked the voltage with a multimeter at the charge controller terminals, wire ends, MC-4 connectors -- all showing zero volts under clear blue direct sun.
The second panel I have not checked with a multimeter. I did see 17.7V on the PWC controller, once. Now the controller consistently says zero volts and that the panel is disconnected.
With the same behavior from two panels .... should I try a third, or are there additional tests that should be done against the charge controller?
Any suggestions?

I did call the 800 number. Sounds like both panels will need to be sent back and a third will be sent out in hopes that it will function properly.
Now I wish I had kept the box from the first panel. I'm going to have to find a box to ship that one back - not fun.

Well ... THIRD panel is behaving the same way. The charge controller will show a PV voltage then it will drop to zero. Or looking at the connect status it will switch between connected and disconnected.
Plus every time I swap out a panel it costs me roughly $20 in 3M Dual Lock velcro. The costs to this adventure are adding up.
Could there be issues with the charge controller? Could the charge controller be causing problems with the panels?

I also had a 100w flexible panel installed on my van and is also showing near zero voltage. My mechanic had called Renogy and was told they will expedite a replacement but it has been 2 weeks and no panel. Are there mfg. problems with the 100w flexible panels?? Dennis

Hello Dennis, Do you have your order information so I can look up why you haven't received the replacement panel. Thank you.
