You will need 8 connectors I'm fairly sure... Any reason why your going parallel? With series you won't need any connectors...

It won't hurt a thing as long as the ends aren't touching anything... You can leave them that way as long as you need... It shouldn't hurt a thing....

However I have decided to get some 4ga cables and go directly to the batteries (with a fuse inline of course). Jerry That's a much better choice... Do it right.... You have fewer problems that way...

Yes it will just like it does when it's dark outside. Just trip the fuse until you get it out again...

You don't have enough panels to do what your wanting to do... You will need at least 4 more 100w panels...

Just hook it up... Nothing special... A car battery is a poor choice but it will work...

Does anybody have a easy, simple wiring diagram to replace the converter in an rv to an inverter? They both have a positive and a negative don't they?? That's simple enough...

Installed my second Rover 40 MPPT controller and the software supplied works fine. You can monitor 2 controllers from your computer. May have a problem with the new controller. At night the original one say 12.7 volts. The new one says 11.4. I have 400 watts at 12v going into each controller. Both controllers feed the same battery bank. 12V 386AH, new batteries. Emailed tech support for suggestions, or from anyone on the board. I would say one is over riding the other... Why do you have two controllers? You do know you can run 8 100w panels with just one 40a CC.. Now that is with my old Renogy 40a CC I don't know about a rover CC...

Well when you can't be more specific with your questions what else would you expect... When you don't know what to ask. We can't answer a general question....
Good luck Guest... I really doubt if anyone can answer your general question...
My solar works just fine without a stupid app........

I only see one app on renogy's download page, I did find at the app store something 'Rover controller' but rover manual says no wireless! You don't believe that the rover doesn't have an app??
