A $50 controller and the app and ya got data, if ya don't like data so be it The app be free! adobob, I'll send a message via this forum. in these sub freezing temps it is nice to check the low voltage of day without going outside and opening the garage it is simple and not stupid unlike the stupid and not simple approach, free and easy. After a week of more away from home it is easy to see daily low voltage for each day to check on the system. Haters just hate how easy and cheap it is, so be it. My system is inside so it's no problem to check it.. If your system isn't doing like you want can you change it from out of town? Since I set my system up I haven't had to change one thing... If you have to keep tweaking your system to make it work right I think you need to step up and buy one that works correctly... But I guess cheap is as cheap does... KISS

Thanks for the response, But my system is running just fine with what's included on my 60a commander CC.. Without all the new do das and time wasting apps.... KISS Well you can always go better, but if you're not interested then suit yourself. I enjoy the extra data and the potential to improve my system further down the line by having access to the extra info. Does it make your system run better or does it just make you feel better??

^^^^ Yes sir that is differen't than 6v deep cycle^^^^ Plus the chart I found brakes it down ever further... I think it's in the 60a Renogy CC instruction manual that I bought... Nice find, Tattoo! I grabbed that to replace the wall chart I'm using now (It's a bit faded from being up for so long.) Here it is so that others may benefit from it: That's the best one that I have seen... Thanks for posting it...

^^^ Thank you bird^^^^ But I really doubt he will understand that... Jimmy 50% has to do with voltage not SOC... If you will do some research there is a chart that tells you that... I have one printed out that I have taped to the wall where my solar is... Even though I know it now.. {KISS}

The batteries are rated 845 cold cranking amps(CCA). Jimmy I'm going to say this about that.... CCA doesn't mean S H I T in a solar system.... Why do you think your batteries are in good condition? What does your Hydrometer say that's the ONLY real way to know for sure... I'm done helping you, you don't understand and your not listening to bird or I about solar systems... Have a good one and good luck, Hope you can figure out SOC when it doesn't tell you s h i t .... Your looking for the 50% in the wrong place... I know where it is but I'm not telling... {KISS} See ya in the funny papers

Why are you so fixed on the SOC? As long as you keep worrying about it you will never have your solar running right.... What kind of hydrometer did you buy??? 845 is DEAD 1025 is weak... 1250 and up is fully charged... You don't have weird batteries you have mismatched batteries... I told you not to use that old battery...

Every thing good with fridge plugged in overnight 25.7 in am. Partly cloudy day today 2.6kwh today. Dark now voltage reads 25.8 under no load. Must be near 100% ready for another night all solar. Thanks See I told you you needed more batteries... Yea bird doesn't know anything about adding more batteries.... Now if you want to know about graphs or lights in a walk way he is your man...

did not realize they had a BT dongle,, my hp2440 (PWM) grape solar has the BT built in, pair it to the phone and monitor with the app. I emailed em but doubt they will get back on where to buy the SR-BT-1 in usa Email: alex@szshuori.com / alex@srnesolar.com / alex@srne-solar.com / alex@srnescc.com / alex@srne-energy.com / alex@srnepower.com / alex@srnesolarpv.com Homepage: www.srnesolar.com Talked to SRNE support and they told me Renogy had this part. They offered to sell it and ship it form china but I had to buy a controller also, and shipping was somewhat high. If I still needed to buy the ML2440 I would just buy it from them with the BT dongle. I contacted Renogy and asked them if it was true that they had one since SRNE insisted they did, and they mentioned it should be coming out this month but pricing is still not available. Really looking forward to this. Can I ask what's the big deal about motoring what your CC is doing on your phone? I guess it's to much trouble to just walk over and look at it?

Does just one cell bad ruin the battery. Yes one bad cell will kill a battery... I don't think you have ever said... What is your battery voltage in the morning after you leave everything on at night??
